God's Revelation Simplified - Chapter Sixteen

Jesus gives John a vision of the new heaven and the new earth. This is a vision that the people of the twentieth century would not be able to fully comprehend. Scripture says that God will dwell there and in the new Jerusalem along with all who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Revelation 21:1-8; 21:9-27

John describes as best he can the River of Life that will flow from the Throne of God and that perfect Light that will continually shine from the Light of the Lamb (Jesus). There will be no night there and darkness will be no more. The bride will dwell with the Bridegroom forever and ever. Revelation 22:1-5

The final verses of Revelation proclaim that we are not to keep these prophecies to ourselves. The Lord proclaims that these things will soon come to pass. Remember that a 1,000 years with the Lord is as one day. This is a reminder that there is no time in the spirit realm. Revelation 22:6-13

These words are for us today. Jesus says drink of the "Water of Life" freely. Embrace the Good News of God's Grace for you today for Jesus says "surely I come quickly". Revelation 22:14-21
